Oh, Christmas Shopping, Wrapping, Decorating...

Has everyone started their Christmas shopping and decorating?  All the stores are in full regalia and looking for the big push to buy gifts for Christmas.  I have some decorations put up and have sorted the stash I keep piling up in the linen closet.  So, put that together with finally sorting out the craft room, and I'm feeling quite virtuous.  Still a little shopping left, but that will be done this week.
I hope all my friends and family will get on the fun side of the season. There are pressures, to be sure, for everyone to have the 'perfect Christmas', but let's take a breath, put on a smile, and think of the Love we received on the birth of Christ at Christmas, not the $$$$.

Hi Mar!
I've done just a little bit of decorating. We have single electric candles on the windows across the front of the house....and a wreath on the front door. That's the earliest we've ever started decorating. We have bought a few presents, also. (Another record...we usually wait until later...) This Christmas is going to be a scaled-down one for us...but that's a good thing. It's not about us. I loved your sentiments in your blog. I hope that you have a wonderful week...and I can't wait to get back here to see you again soon. Until then, take care of you...and receive a great big smile from me!

Beautiful post!

We have been decorating this weekend, still a little left to do, but not too much more. I'm happy to get it done early, so I can sit back and enjoy the season.
We don't have to shop much anymore, we don't exchange gifts anymore, we just do a 'Secret Santa' with the family, so then it's only one person to shop for which makes it very nice!

Enjoy!
All the best,
Eileen
